Privacy Policy

Summary

We collect only what we need to operate TruckRoster: your account details (email, company name, MC#), your carriers' invite emails, and — once carriers connect their ELDs — the truck location and HOS data they explicitly authorize. We don't sell data to third parties.

What we collect

• Account data: email, password hash, company name, MC#, plan tier, billing details (Phase 2).
• Roster data: invite emails you send to carriers, the carriers who accept, and the trucks/locations/HOS they authorize.
• Usage logs: standard request logs (IP, user-agent, timestamps) for security and rate limiting.

How we use it

• Provide the service: showing you the roster you signed up to see.
• Account management: signup, login, password reset, billing.
• Security: rate limiting, account lockout, abuse detection.
• Service emails (account-related only — no marketing without explicit opt-in).

Carrier data

Carriers control what's visible. A carrier can mark any truck private at any time and it disappears from broker dashboards. Brokers cannot see data the carrier hasn't explicitly shared.

Your rights

Delete your account anytime from settings. We delete or anonymize your data within 30 days of cancellation. Email support@truckroster.com for an export.
